2020 has been quite adventurous and full of content when it comes to the internet, media and Bollywood. Apart from the pandemic, Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death in June this year, too, was and continues to remain a trending topic. Now, the Google Trends have unveiled their list of the most trending, personalities, searches, films and web series among others. Well, you won't be surprised to know the results. Apart from late Sushant Singh Rajput, his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, ex-girlfriend Ankita Lokhande, journalist Arnab Goswami and actress Kangana Ranaut among others have found a spot.
As per the list, USA's President-elect Joe Biden, who has defeated Donald Trump to become the latest President, has gained the top spot. Republic TV's Arnab Goswami is at number two, thanks to him constantly advocating for justice and making some of the other shocking revelations in Sushant's death case. The anchor was also involved in a streak of other controversies this year. Up next is Kanika Kapoor for, of course, being the first Bollywood celebrity to contract COVID-19. Amitabh Bachchan was at the fifth position. Coming to Rhea Chakraborty, she has gained the 7th spot for all the obvious reasons. Right from being dragged into Sushant's death case to getting jailed over alleged involvement in the Bollywood drug nexus; Rhea managed to hit headlines almost every day.
Sushant's ex-girlfriend Ankita Lokhande was at the 9th spot, while controversy queen Kangana Ranaut managed to make it to number 10.

As for the most trending movies of 2020, Sushant Singh Rajput's Dil Bechara was at number one, while films like Sadak 2, Laxmii, Tanhaji - The Unsung Warrior, Hulabo Sitabo and Gunjan Saxena followed.
