As per the scriptures, Lord Hanuman is believed to be born at Sunrise on Purnima Tithi. So, Hanuman Jayanti will be celebrated on April 6 as per Sunrise timing.

1. Clean the puja room and decorate it with flowers and rangoli.

2. Place a picture or idol of Lord Hanuman on a clean altar.

3. Offer flowers, fruits, and sweets to the deity and light a diya (lamp).

4. Recite the Hanuman Chalisa and other Hanuman mantras, such as the Hanuman Ashtak or the Bajrang Baan.

5. Perform aarti by lighting the camphor and waving it in front of the deity.

6. Offer prasad to Lord Hanuman and distribute it among the devotees.

7. Finally, seek the blessings of Lord Hanuman and ask for his protection and guidance.

Meaning: Salutations to Lord Hanuman who is as powerful and wrathful as Lord Rudra.

3. Om Anjaneyaya Vidmahe Vayuputraya Dheemahi, Tanno Hanumat Prachodayat

Meaning: Om, let the son of Anjani, enlighten our soul. He is the son of the god of wind and is intelligent. To Him, we offer our prayers. May He bless our soul.

4. OM Aeem Bhreem Hanumate Shri Rama Dootaaya Namah

Meaning: Salutations to Lord Hanuman, the one who is the messenger and representative of Lord Rama and His family.

5. Anjanii-Garbha Sambhuuta Kapii-[I]ndra Sacivo[a-U]ttama | Raama-Priya Namas-Tubhyam Hanuman Rakssa Sarvadaa ||

Meaning: I bow to the one who was born from the womb of Mother Anjani and who was a great minister of the king of monkeys, Sugriva. He is quite dear to Lord Rama and I always bow to  Lord Hanuman.
