Hardik And Krunal Pandya Flew To Ranchi In A Chartered Plane To Wish MS Dhoni On His Birthday - Woah
Following all the norms of COVID-19 lockdown and BCCI protocol, Indian cricketers Hardik and Krunal Pandya visited MS Dhoni on his birthday, in Ranchi
On July 7, Indian cricketer and former Indian cricket team captain, MS Dhoni turned a year older. Birthday wishes flooded the social networking sites, with his family, friends, colleagues and fans, penning down some heartfelt birthday messages for him. As per reports in Times Of India, Indian cricketers and brothers Hardik and Krunal Pandya flew to Ranchi to wish MS Dhoni, on his birthday amidst of COVID-19 lockdown. The two took off to Ranchi from Vadodara in chartered plan and made a quick visit to the captain cool.
Abiding the rules of government, they were seen sporting surgical masks as they exited the airport, accompanying them was Krunal's wife, Pankhuri. While Hardik’s wife Nataša Stankovic was not seen with the trio and hence was assumed to be back at home, as she is expecting her first child soon. The Pandya brothers were with Dhoni on his birthday night in Ranchi. As they landed at the airport they continued to follow the social distancing norm and did not accept any bouquets or shook hands with anyone.
They straight headed to their car, and zoomed off to Dhoni’s farmhouse which is 10 km away from the airport. Shishir Hattangadi, CEO of the Baroda Cricket Association was quoted saying by Mirror, “It’s a sweet gesture by the two. I did not know about it but, I can tell you their (the Pandyas) heart is at the right place.”
Hardik was reported to have kept the BCCI officials informed about this trip to Ranchi, as per the mandatory instructions. Also as per mandatory protocol to be followed by people in Ranchi is they need to give an undertaking about their return journey taking place in 72 hours of their visit.
