Hardik Pandya On Koffee With Karan Outing, ‘Coffee Proved To Be Too Expensive For Me, Drink Green Tea Instead'
Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya recently recalled the controversy that happened on Koffee With Karan last year; revealed he never drank coffee after that as it was too expensive
Unless you are living under a rock, you will surely remember the famous Koffee With Karan controversy that had brewed a storm across Indian cricketers Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul’s life, soon after their episode had gone on air. Well, it was Hardik’s sexist comments that irked a large section of people and along with all the outrage and a whopping fine of Rs 20 lacs each, both Hardik and KL Rahul were also temporarily suspended from playing matches. During the incident, Hardik Pandya had also stopped making any public appearance for a long time and had locked himself inside his house.
Well, that might be a thing of the past now but it still haunts Pandya and the cricketer is quite vocal about it. During a live chat with fellow cricketer Dinesh Karthik, Hardik Pandya recalled the incident. It was after the former poked fun at Hardik by asking fans to ask him only decent questions and avoid all the controversies, as "it's been a year since Hardik drank coffee,” and laughed. In response to him, Pandya said that he drank coffee only once in his life and it proved to be very expensive for him. Pandya added that he prefers green tea over coffee any day.
Hardik said, “I don't drink coffee, I drink green tea instead. I drank coffee only once and proved to be too expensive for me. I can bet that Starbucks would not have such an expensive coffee. Since then I stay away from coffee.” LOL!
On the personal front, Hardik Pandya got engaged to his girlfriend Natasa Stankovic amid a romantic setup in Dubai. The couple is also quarantining together and has been inseparable ever since.
