HUSTLE 2 WINNER: MC Square Aka Abhishek Bensla WINS Big On India’s First first Ever Rap Reality Show; Badshah Says Calls Him Next Voice Of Rap In India-REPORTS
Hustle 2.0’s grand finale aired on MTV and it streamed on Voot on Sunday night and MC Square emerged victorious
MC Square whose real name is Abhishek Bensla has been making waves as he was crowned the winner of the reality talent show MTV Hustle 2.0 on Sunday evening. The rapper has beat four other rappers in heavily-contested rap-themed reality shows.
The rapper is on cloud nine as he has a humongous fan following and many celebrities like Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma among his sizable fan base.
For the unversed, Hustle 2.0’s grand finale aired on MTV and it streamed on Voot on Sunday night. The show saw Abhishek competing against other four finalists - Tanishq Singh aka Paradox; Akshay Poojary aka Gravity; Shubham Pal aka Spectra; and Nihar Hodawadekar aka Nazz and they set the stage on fire with their performance.
The show’s judge Badshah was joined by Ikka Singh and the squad bosses Dee MC, EPR, Dino James, and King for musical performances as well.
Elaborating on his victory, MC Square shared, “I had a childhood dream of becoming a star, and now I can proudly tell my mother that her son is indeed one! Thanks to MTV Hustle 2.0, my dreams have turned into reality.”
Meanwhile, judge Badshah reacted to MC Square’s win and said that the competition “raised the bar for rap music and reality television, by bringing raw talent and professional grooming in one place. All our talented contestants have amazed me week-on-week with their storytelling and skill.”
He particularly praised Abhishek and added that he “has undoubtedly proven to be the next rap voice that the Indian hip-hop community was looking for, and I couldn’t be happier for him!”
MTV Hustle is known to be ‘India’s first ever rap reality show’ and it is even popular among celebrities. Apart from Anushka and Virat, Gauahar Khan, Ishaan Khatter, Riteish Deshmukh, Nargis Fakhri, Tanmay Bhatt, and Chitrangda Singh are also known to following the show and they have even issued their support for their favourite contestants on Instagram and Twitter.
