As per the sports portal, Kohli will be paid a whopping $2.5 million i.e., Rs 17 crore for the upcoming IPL 2020’s contract. This also makes him the cricketer with the highest income this year. Kohli is also the leading batsman in both ODI and T20 format with the most number of runs in a year. However, RCB has failed to win the IPL trophy so far, will this year be an exception? Mahendra Singh Dhoni, popularly known as MS Dhoni, was once upon a time among the highest-paid players. In fact, in the year 2014, he was listed as the most paid cricketers in the world with a salary of $2.2 million, during his stint with CSK. This year, however, MS Dhoni comes second in the list with an income of $2.1 million that is Rs 15 crore.
Rohit Sharma’s stint in the IPL 2020 will get the highest amount of the tournament throughout the seasons, as he is being reportedly paid $2.1 million that is Rs 15 crore. As for IPL 2020, Ben Stokes will be playing for Rajasthan Royals and will be paid a whopping $1.8 million that is Rs 12.5 crore.
Australian cricketers and one of the most powerful openers David Warner will be playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad this year. He made his IPL debut in the year 2009 and has come a long way since then. As for IPL 2020, Warner will be paid $1.7 million, which is Rs 12 crore.
