Mandeep Singh got selected for the Indian cricket team in the year 2016 and his dad Hardev Singh was on cloud 9 to see his son make a swift entry in the world of cricket. But to everyone’s attention Mandeep Singh, who is busy playing his IPL match, lost his dad Hardev Singh on Saturday, due to a prolonged illness, In Chandigarh. But with true spirit, Mandeep was still seen on the field while making his dad and team proud.  

Yes, this story is quite relatable to Indian Skipper Virat Kohli who lost his father when he was playing a 4-day Ranjit match and had to bat a day after he lost his father, late at night around 2:30 am. Relating to him, Virat Kohli posted an IG story congratulating him for his win. He mentioned, “The most genuinely happy cricketer I know. To do what you’ve done in this testing time is because of your faith in life and your positive attitude. Well played shera. He’s blessing you from above” 

Mandeep had taken to his Instagram account and posted a video of the match with a caption that read, “This one's for you Dad.”
