JUST IN: After Prince Charles, UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson Tests Positive For Coronavirus
Prime Minister of United Kingdon, Boris Johnson, has tested positive for Coronavirus. The deadly pandemic that started in China's Wuhan has reached each part of the globe and is sparing no one. Earlier, it was Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's wife who contracted Coronavirus and had been put in quarantine. Now, the news of Boris Johnson being infected by COVID-19 has shaken one and all. The politician took to Twitter to inform all his followers about the same.

Taking to Twitter, Boris wrote, "Over the last 24 hours I have developed mild symptoms and tested positive for coronavirus. I am now self-isolating, but I will continue to lead the government’s response via video-conference as we fight this virus. Together we will beat this. #StayHomeSaveLives." He attached a video with his post stating that he had a temperature and persistent cough after which he was adviced by the Chief Medical officer to take the Coronavirus test. He further thanked 'the wizardry of modern technology' that he will be able to lead the country by working from home. In an earlier tweet, Boris had thanked all the people working in the healthcare department who are helping fight Coronavirus.

Boris Johson is the latest celebrity to add to the long list of high-profile personalities who have affected by COVID-19. Hollywood stars like Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson, Idris Elba, Andy Cohen, and others have been tested positive for Coronavirus. Even Prince Charles, the eldest son of Queen Elizabeth II, has tested positive for Coronavirus and is in self-isolation with his wife.
