Kamal Haasan Hospitalized In Chennai Due To Ill Health; Doctors Advise Complete Bed Rest To The Actor-Report
Legendary actor Kamal Haasan has been admitted to Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre (SMRC) hospital in Porur, Chennai. As per reports, he was admitted to the hospital after he complained of a slight fever and was given treatment for the same. Doctors have advised the actor complete bed rest for the next few days. Confirming the same, ANI tweeted, “Actor and Makkal Needhi Maiam chief Kamal Hassan was admitted to Sri Ramachandra Hospital in Chennai last night after he complained of fever.”

Kamal Haasan, who visited the hospital for a regular health check-up, is expected to get discharged today. It is being reported that the South superstar felt a bit uneasy and feverish on November 23 and after his return from Hyderabad, he got admitted to Chennai’s hospital for a checkup. Soon after the news of Haasan being admitted to the hospital broke out, his ardent fans and netizens started wishing him a speedy recovery. One fan wrote, “Get well soon #KamalHassan Sir ..  Kamal Haasan recently jetted off to Hyderabad to meet his mentor and noted director K Vishwanath and their photos went viral. He visited the veteran filmmaker at his home and also posted a picture where he was seen bowing and holding Viswanath’s hand as a sign of respect. 

On the professional front, the actor is currently seen hosting the reality show Bigg Boss Tamil Season 6. He has also been busy shooting for his upcoming film Indian 2, directed by Shankar. Besides this, Kamal Haasan also has Mani Ratnam’s KH 234, and a film with director Pa Ranjith in the lineup.
