Amidst the border tensions between India and China in Ladakh, Comedian Saloni Gaur aka Nazma Aapi shared a video making jokes about China recently. In the video, Saloni openly addressed the stand-off between India and China in Eastern Ladakh. As Saloni shared an impactful video where she in her Nazma Aapi character joked about China, the video shared by the comedian was deleted by the Chinese-based app TikTok. Now, Saloni Gaur took to her social media to thank TikTok for deleting the video she shared.

Taking to Twitter, comedian Saloni Gaur shared a picture and tweeted, “Thank you Tiktok for deleting my video where I made jokes about China, I tweeted about it and the tweet got covered by Amar ujala, a hindi newspaper which my dadi reads daily. Now she's fine with it if I don't go for post graduation.” The comedian shared a picture collage of one picture featuring her posing along with her grandmother reading a newspaper and another of a newspaper snippet.

In the tweet, the comedian thanked the Chinese based app TikTok for deleting her video where she made jokes about China. As Saloni Gaur spoke in regards to the border tensions between India and China on the border, in the tweet, the comedian mentioned that she had tweeted on that matter and it was covered by a Hindi newspaper. Saloni then shared that her Dadi aka grandmother reads the Hindi newspaper daily and mentioned that now she is fine if her granddaughter does not try to attempt for a post-graduation degree.


Meanwhile, as TikTok solved Saloni Gaur’s problems of not wanting to pursue her further education, the comedian made sure she sets an example by thanking the app in the wittiest way possible.
