Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan has been scaling great heights with his epic performances and hardwork. His dedication for work has rewarded him with some of the most block-buster hits. While Mr Aaryan is on a winning spree, it is being speculated that he has replaced Tom Cruise in Mission Impossible.
Previously, several rumours suggested that Kartik was roped in for Hera Pheri 3 and has replaced Akshay Kumar for the character Raju. The film feature Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal. In an interview tih IndianExpress, Kartik refuted the rumours and pointed out that he is still surprised. Meanwhile, following the rumours, Kartik Aaryan was tagged as the replacement star.
Speaking about Aaryan replacing Tom Cruise, the Bollywood actor got candid about a hilarious meme he received about replacing Tom in the film. The actor got candid about the same in conversation with Indiatoday and said that it is always about a film and not about a sequel or a remake. He even said that someone sent him a meme that read that he might replace Tom in the film.
Kartik told India Today, “I also laugh at it when I read it. Someone recently sent me a meme that I might replace Tom Cruise in Mission Impossible also. I laughed it off."
He also said, "I don't care. Honestly speaking, even if I have done more, I don't count. It is always about the film and not about if it is a sequel or not. I am not thinking like that. I just look at the story, the script. If I like the story, I won't leave it only because someone says it is a remake or sequel. The same person will come and watch the film in theatre. Why should I disturb my mindset with that?”
Kartik Aaryan shot to fame following his four-minute monologue in Luv Ranjan's 'Pyaar Ka Punchnama' 2011. After featuring in a couple of films, Kartik got his big break with Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and soon worked in films such as Luka Chuppi, Pati Patni Aur Woh and Dhamaka among others.
His latest release - Freddy which was helmed by Shashanka Ghosh premiered on Friday on Disney+ Hotstar and also features Alaya F.
He also has Rohit Dhawan's Shehzada and Sameer Vidhwans' Satyaprem Ki Katha alongside Kiara Advani. Shehzada is the Hindi remake of the 2020 Telugu hit Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo.
