NBA player Kobe Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter Gianna Bryant’s death in a fatal helicopter crash near Calabasas, California on January 26 shocked one and all. As per online reports, Bryant and his daughter were traveling in his private helicopter when it went down. Later, Kobe’s widow Vanessa Bryant filed a lawsuit at the Los Angeles Superior Court against the owner of the helicopter, Island Express, which carried Kobe, Gianna and seven others. Fans were devastated with this heartbreaking piece of news.

Now in the latest shocking interview the company of the helicopter has blamed the deceases and said that Kobe and his  13-year-old daughter knew flying could result in an accident. TMZ quotes Island Express saying, "Kobe Bryant and GB [Gigi] had actual knowledge of all of the circumstances, particular dangers, and an appreciation of the risks involved and the magnitude thereof, and proceeded to encounter a known risk, and voluntarily assumed the risk of the accident, injury ... thereby barring or reducing [Vanessa's] claim for damages.”

The company went on to take no responsibility for such tragic crash. They say it was an Act of God.

TMZ also quoted a relative of pilot Ara George Zobayan, quote read, “Any injuries or damages to plaintiffs and/or their decedent were directly caused in full or in part by the negligence or fault of plaintiffs and/or their decedent, including their knowing and voluntary encounter with the risks involved, and that this negligence was a substantial factor in causing their purported damages, for which this answering defendant bears no responsibility.” (ALSO READ: Kobe Bryant's Widow Vanessa Bryant Files 'Wrongful Death Lawsuit' Against Helicopter Owner; Calls Pilot Reckless)
