Lalit Modi On Oxygen Support After Suffering From COVID-19 And Pneumonia; Sushmita Sen’s Brother Rajeev Extends Well Wishes
Lalit Modi took to social media to share an update about his health condition
Indian businessman and founder of Indian Premier League, Lalit Modi took to his official social media handle on Friday evening to share an update about his health. Sharing a series of pictures from the hospital, he expressed how he suffered from double COVID-19 and deep pneumonia for the past three weeks. His followers and celebrities were quick to extend their well-wishes and hoped for his speedy recovery.
Taking to his Instagram account, the 59-year-old businessman revealed how he suffered from ‘double Covid-19 accompanied by influenza and deep pneumonia’ in Mexico. While he is now back in London via an air ambulance, he is still on external oxygen support. “Finally landed via air ambulance accompanied by two doctors and superstar super efficient son who did so much for me back in London. The flight was smooth. Unfortunately still on 24/7 external oxygen. Thank u to all at @vistajet for going the extra mile. I am extremely grateful to all. Love to all. Big hug,” he concluded.
Fans and celebrities took to his comments section to shower him with love and prayers of him getting well soon. Lalit’s alleged ex-girlfriend, actress Sushmita Sen’s brother Rajeev, too extended his well wishes. He wrote, “Wishing you a speedy recovery Lalit . In another post, he can be seen posing with his doctors, who treated him and monitored him for the past few weeks. Lalit expressed how he was grateful for their support. Continuing the previous health update, he wrote, “I was I thought touch and go. But my children and thief friends and my close friend @harish_salve_ who were all with me 2 out of my three weeks fully by my side. They are all my family and part of me. God bless. Jai hind. Not to forget the @vistajet crew. Who were better then par excellence. Thank u my friend @thomasflohrvista”
Talking about Sushmita Sen, the businessman had taken to his social media handles to announce their relationship. However, a few months later rumours about their break up started surfacing the internet after he changed his profile picture on Instagram that had the actress and even his Insta bio. The actress has neither confirmed nor denied their relationship.
