Nandi had approached many film studios and production houses, when he had acquired the rights. However, now the debut director has filed a cheating case against Akhilesh Paul, producers Mahesh Koneru, Ramana Girivasan and director Atlee. Though, Nandi approached all the influential filmmaking bodies down south, but his efforts were in vain, with no response from any of them.
