Malayalam Poet-Lyricist Anil Panachooran Dies At 55 Due To Covid 19; Industry Pays Tribute
Famous Malayalam lyricist Anil Panachooran took his last breath at a private hospital in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. He was suffering from Covid-19 and was undergoing treatment for the same. The poet was not keeping well for last one week and his health condition deteriorated on Sunday, 3rd January and succumbed to illness.
According to the reports, when Anil fainted due to his illness he got admitted to a private hospital and later when his health condition was not stable he got shifted to Anayara hospital in Thiruvananthapuram. Around 8.30 pm he suffered a massive cardiac arrest and lost his life. The news of his demise sent shockwaves in the Malayalam film industry. Actor Prithviraj Sukumaran pays his condolence on social media. Other famous celebrities such as Unni Mukundan and Tovino Thomas have also wished Anil Panachooran's soul to get rest in peace.




For the unversed, Anil Panachooran is a famous name in Malayalam film industry. He started his career as a lyricist with critically-acclaimed film, Arabikkadha. His fame raised with the songs ‘Eeran Meghame’, ‘Thirike Njan Varumenna Vaartha Kelkkanayi’, and ‘Chora Veena Mannil’. He has worked on other movies like ‘Kadha Parayumbol’, ‘Madambi’, ‘Marykkundoru Kunjaadu’, ‘Velipadinte Pusthakam’.
