Messiah Alert: After Pledging 1500 Cr, Ratan Tata Opens Rooms At Taj Hotels For Doctors Fighting COVID-19 – VIDEO
There’s a reason why Ratan Tata is among one of the most loved personalities of India and, mind you, he has no hearts. The man with the heart of gold, as people describe him, recently donated his bit towards India’s battle with the Coronavirus pandemic. It was disclosed this Tata group, comprising of Tata Trusts and Tata Sons, has donated a huge Rs 1,500 crore, the funds of which will be used for giving proper equipment, testing kits, setting up treatment facilities and respiratory systems across the country. Now, if the internet is anything to go by, it appears that Mr Tata has managed to win our hearts once again.

The industrialist has opened the doors of his luxurious hotel chain of The Taj Group for medical professionals treating COVID-19 cases in Mumbai. As per journalist Rajeev Sardesai, Ratan Tata has opened rooms at Taj Hotel Colaba and Taj Lands End Bandra for all the BMC doctors on-duty to treat Coronavirus patients. He tweeted, “TATAs opens the rooms at Taj hotel Colaba and Taj lands end Bandra for BMC doctors working on covid19 duty: well done! Time to make the heart as big and accommodating as possible.”

A series of pictures that see doctors posing in luxurious rooms of the above-mentioned hotels, too, have emerged on social media. “Dear Doctors and Medical Practitioners, Team of President, Mumbai salutes the 'True Super Heroes' of the nation. We seize the opportunity to thank you all for your hard work and selfless service to mankind. Wishing you, health, safety and good cheer,” read the note alongside.

Adding further to the claims, a video sees a medical professional narrating his ordeal and how Ratan Tata came to his rescue. It so happened that the doctor, who has been treating COVID-19 cases, was skeptical to go to his place because he had twins at home, he also couldn’t go to his other flats since they were occupied. The organisation dropped a mail to Tata’s and they quickly invited him over to Taj Lands End for a stay. He also gives a sneak-peek into his beautiful suite.

Well, as they say, not all heroes wear capes and Mr Ratan Tata is sure a living example. Here’s a big salute to this selfless man who’s doing everything in his capacity during such times of crisis.
