Money Heist: Ayushmann Khurrana Dresses Up As Professor Ahead Of The Show’s Finale, Gives A Desi Twist To Bella Ciao
Netflix India dropped the desi version of the song Bella Ciao, made popular by the show - Money Heist.
Ayushmann Khurrana has previously confessed his love for the popular Spanish series Money Heist. He homage to his favourite character 'Professor' played by Sergio Marquina. While the popular OTT show is all is set to premiere the second part of its fifth and final season later this week, Netflix India dropped desi version of the song Bella Ciao, made popular by the show.
The latest song features Ayushmann Khurrana as the Professor.
The recently released video begins with a shirtless Ayushmann getting all ready for a red carpet event. Sitting by the piano, the actor chimes the song in Bella Ciao tune who then gets to know that the dress code is red so he dresses up in a red Bella Ciao jumpsuit.
Considering this video, Ayushman has convinced us that he is the perfect actor to play the character just in case the series is made in Hindi with Bollywood stars.
“It's been laid out, the red carpet is waiting but I am only waiting for you. Bella ciao ciao ciao. The final season is almost here, your biggest fan says ciaooo,” he sings in Hindi.
Later, the video shows Ayushmann at the barbershop, getting a makeover. Once his makeover is done, he emerges as the Professor. However, at the premiere, Ayushmann decides to enter wearing a Salvador Dalí mask and a red jumpsuit.
In a previous interview, Ayushmann had confessed his love for Money Heist and its global popularity. He said, “Over time, I've become a huge fan of Money Heist and it's rightfully found a prominent place in pop culture. Getting to work on this unique project has been special given my fondness for the series as well as The Professor. The characters give us an immersive experience and you feel completely invested in their journey throughout the series. While I’m super excited for the finale, it's definitely disappointing that this heist is coming to an end,” as reported by Hindustan Times.
Unfortunately, the Netflix show is coming to an end as the final five episodes of Money Heist Part 5: Volume 2 will premiere on December 3 on Netflix. Ayushmann Khurrana certainly feels disappointed ahead of the show’s conclusion.
