MTV Awards 2022 WINNERS LIST: Tom Holland, Zendaya, Scarlett Johansson, Jennifer Lopez Win Big
MTV Movie & TV Awards 2022 kicked off on Sunday, June 5 and the ceremony was attended by several major movies and TV stars. Interestingly, the evening saw Jennifer Lopez, and Zendaya taking home the biggest awards of the evening. 

As for the film awards, Spider-Man: No Way Home took the best movie award. Although Tom and Zendaya were missing from the red carpet.

The grand award ceremony saw major attendees of this year's awards including Chris Evans who was also a presenter for the evening. Among others who stole the show on the red carpet also included Olivia Rodrigo who wore a black outfit on the red carpet. 

Lopez who was given the Generation Award honour at the ceremony also looked stunning in a black dress with a leather panel. 

Scarlett Johansson, on the other hand, was also awarded the Best Hero award for the film Black Widow, in which she played the titular role.

Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe won the Best Villain award for his performance in The Lost City. Ryan Reynolds won the Best Comedic Performance award for his work in the film Free Guy.

According to AFP, fans are encouraged to vote multiple times for their favourites as the MTV Awards recognize mainstream and commercial hits with large and devoted social media followings. 

The event was hosted by Vanessa Hudgens, who later passed the duty to Tayshia Adams.
