Mumbai Airport Bomb Threat: Female Passenger Spreads Terror When Asked To Pay For Extra Baggage At Mumbai-Kolkata Flight-READ BELOW
A new stirring report has sparked panic across the nation as a woman passenger claimed that she was carrying a bomb in her luggage at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport on Wednesday.

The incident took place when a woman passenger was travelling from Mumbai to Kolkata and was asked to pay extra for her luggage.

A female passenger boarding a Mumbai-Kolkata flight sparked panic at Mumbai airport as she threatened that she was carrying a bomb in her baggage upon being asked to pay for her extra luggage.

The officials have booked the woman for allegedly creating a false bomb scare on Monday.

The reports suggested that the woman handed two bags to an airline staff for check-in. And as per the airline norms, a passenger can have only one piece of baggage for check-in, the weight of which should not surpass 15 kg.

DA Wadkar, a Customer Service Executive (CSE) with a private airline, then asked the woman to pay charges for baggage over 15kg, reported IndiaTimes.

The woman refused and got into a spat with the staffers, according to the police. As Wadkar tried to brief her brief about the airline company’s norms and the woman unexpectedly claimed that she had a bomb in her bag.

Meanwhile, Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) officers even had to call in sniffer dogs to scrutinise her bags. However, nothing was discovered, and her claim turned out to be false.

As per the reports, a police case was filed against her under sections 336 (act endangering life or personal safety of others) and 505 (2) (statements conducing to public mischief) of the Indian Penal Code.
