National Award Winning Malayalam Actress Manju Warrier Files A Complaint Against Director VA Shrikumar Menon Alleging Danger To Life

Malayalam Actress Manuj Warrier is considered to be one of the best actresses in the South industry. Not only this, she is also called as the ‘Lady Superstar’ down in the South and with this, she also bagged a National Award for her performance as Bhadra in Kannezhuthi Pottum Thottu. In Tollywood, fans hail Manju’s performance who is better known for roles in Asuran, Odiyan and Lucifer. But with all the success, there is also the bad side that comes along. Recently, it was reported that the National Award Winning Malayalam actress has filed a complaint against the filmmaker V A Shrikumar Menon, alleging that she faced a threat to her life.
According to the Indian Express report, the actress’ complaint accused Menon of defaming her through orchestrated campaigns on social media, particularly after the December 2018 release of his film Odiyan, in which she was seen opposite South’s one of the superstars Mohanlal Viswanathan, better known as Mohanlal. That’s not it, she also alleged that she fears that Shrikumar Menon might endanger her life.
After the news broke in and he got to know about the complaint, a sad Shrikumar took to his Facebook handle and wrote an elaborate note on what he feels about this whole scenario. He started with, “But my dearest manju.... What are you doing? You know how many times your friends and relatives have told you that you are the one who has done the favor of those who did the favour. (I am an example to remind me of one of your spiritual friend who came to me while we shoot one day at Hyderabad Annapurna Studio.)”
Moving further his note further read, “You have defeated me with you, loving and loving forces and threats. The Fruit I heard for you, pains for you, the bad things I heard for you. With You, the enemies who were determined to keep your word, lost relationships. The achievements you've made in my intelligence and love, how fast you forget everything.”
