Nicki Minaj has been trending on social media after an Instagram user named Kate Miller, claimed that she is the rapper’s ex-assistant, and she has made awfully huge claims about the 39-year-old rap artist. 

However, shortly after the claims sparked chaos in the industry and on social media, Minaj immediately took to her Instagram handle on August 2 to shut down the claims and even called them ‘dumb’. 

Nicki Minaj reacted to the claims via her social media handle and said, "Every day I learn that y'all getting dumber and f*cking dumber. The other day I was on Twitter and I saw this whole fanbase, bitch." 

She further said, "They marked up a whole spreadsheet saying, 'This what we boutta do to get rid of Nicki finally.' And they was saying all types of s**t and I just was like whoa this is sad, right?," and continued, "I am mind blown that people are this f*cking dumb. That people are really believing that I got somebody that work for me and now they spilling tea. Chile. But, it's not even that. It's the tea sound so f*cking dumb, and for a person to believe it, you would have to be dumb. It's clearly a kid."


The high-octane drama sparked after the alleged ex-assistant started posting a series of screenshots on her Instagram story, which have now been taken down, had 20 Insta stories in total. The first Insta story claimed, "I am Onika ex-assistant who she fired who for absolutely no proof of fraud with her bank account. I’m exposing all files I have from working for her. Along with the voice messages she sent me regarding many different people not just Cardi B," the first one read. 

The second was even tagged to Minaj and it read, “Let’s talk about you sending Robert Sammuels $75,000 for Freaky Girl “abundance” on the charts. But you’re fans love dissing “payola” You won’t sue and you know why. I have it all on video. For example, when Kenneth pushed you off that lodge. Meek isn’t the only abuser.” 

Another read, “I have your tax refunds from 2021. When are we gonna tell the barbz you’ve owed the IRS 173 million since 2016? renting homes is always the go to for the Minaj residence.” Kate Miller, in one of the claims, targeted Nicki Minaj’s husband and said, "The things that your husband said to me when you weren’t around still gives me chills and as a woman I’m going to deal with that on my own time but you both are sick and meant for each other.”

Interestingly, fans quickly jumped in and rendered their reaction as one of them wrote, "The page claiming to be nicki minaj’s ex assistant/ exec for republic records posted fan art of Kim Kardashian, Rihanna, Kylie Jenner, and Ariana grande on their story.. y’all it’s a teenager behind that page and I’m side eyeing anyone eating this stuff up. Also the grammar." 




DJ Akademiks, a YouTuber, said, "This nicki Minaj assistant stuff is interesting but weird .. put it like this .. if u only expose someone when ur cut off … what does it say about u… u stayed quiet once u were paid up ignoring evil stuff. Now u stopped getting paid and u wanna expose everything because …??”

Netizens can be really creative and they can even make you laugh in serious situations. An individual asked Nicki to hire a new assistant. "@NICKIMINAJ you need a new assistant? Because I got the resume, and I won’t ever make you look foolish. Call me," the user wrote.

Well, the only question remains… Who is Kate Miller?

As per the latest media reports, Kate Miller isn’t a real person and the picture used as the display picture on social media belongs to Megan Feldman Bettencourt, who is a senior director of Digital Strategy & Content at GroundFloor Media & CenterTable.
