Bharatiya Janata Party MLA from Tripura Jadab Lal Nath is trending on social media for all the wrong reasons. A video of him, allegedly watching a pornographic video on his phone during the assembly session has gone viral on social media. The video, which was taken during budget-related discussions in the state assembly, showed the MLA scrolling through a feed of video clips, and stopping at a point to watch a video that seems to be ‘porn.’ Actor-Politian Prakash Raj has now reacted to this.

Taking to his Twitter handle, the Dabangg 2 actor shared a tweet that said Jadab Lal Nath was caught watching porn during the Assembly session. Alongside it, he wrote, “BlueJP SHAME #justasking.” As per the reports, the BJP has sought an explanation from Nath over the incident that has raised eyebrows on social media. Reacting to the video, State BJP president Rajib Bhattacharya said that the party will be issuing a notice against Nath. Speaking about the same, Jadab Lal Nath stated that the video started playing on its own after he got multiple calls on his phone. The Indian Express quoted him as saying, “I am aware that the use of mobile phones is prohibited in the Assembly. I was getting repeated calls and after I picked up a call, obscene videos started playing on my phone. I turned them off soon after.”



Condemning the incident, Animesh Debbarma, a Member of the Tripura Legislative Assembly demanded strict action against Nath saying as per the rules he should be barred from contesting elections for the next six years or so. Earlier in 2012, two BJP MLAs Shankar Chaudhary and Jethabhai Bharwad were accused of watching porn inside the assembly, however, they denied the accusations.
