Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Mother 'Heeraben' HOSPITALIZED; In Stable Condition: Doctors
PM Modi’s mother Heeraben Modi was admitted to a hospital in Ahmedabad after her health deteriorated
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has time again showcased the importance of his mother Heeraben Modi in his life. Whenever he has time on his schedule he makes it a point to visit his 100-year-old mother, who lives with his younger brother, Pankaj Modi, in Gujarat. Mrs. Modi was admitted to the hospital last night after her health reportedly deteriorated.
According to a report by PTI, she was taken to the UN Mehta Hospital in Ahmedabad. The reports further state that her condition is stable. The doctors and the hospital are yet to share any information regarding her deteriorating health. Confirming the same, quoted by The Hindu, the hospital through a press release said, “UN Mehta Institute of Cardiology and Research Centre, Ahmedabad hospital’s spokesperson hereby informs that the Honorable Prime Minister’s mother is admitted at U.N. Mehta Institute of Cardiology and Research Centre, Ahmedabad and her condition is stable.”
The Hindu has reported that the honourable Prime Minister has left from New Delhi, to be his mother in Ahmedabad. The security at the hospital has been beefed up as well. Gujarat’s Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, Health Minister Rushikesh Patel and many others have reached the hospital.
Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi took to Twitter and wished speedy recovery to PM’s mother.

For the unversed, PM Modi celebrated his mother’s 100th birthday in June 2022. Just like every year he spent the special day with her in Gujarat. While their meeting only lasted half-an-hour, the doting son made sure to make most of their meeting. Not only did her wash her feet, but he also put a garland of red roses around her neck before taking her blessings. He is often seen showing his mother with love and adoration through his social media posts.
We wish Mrs. Modi a speedy recovery.
