Pakistani actor Moammar Rana and YouTuber Nadir Ali passed derogatory remarks on Priyanka Chopra in a recent podcast which left the netizens irked
Over the years, global icon Priyanka Chopra has been an inspiration for women all across the world. From making a name for herself in the Hindi entertainment industry to making international headlines for her work in Hollywood, she has achieved a great feat with her sheer hard work and determination. As fans are eagerly waiting for her upcoming projects, they were left disgusted when a popular Pakistani YouTuber Nadir Ali dropped his recent podcast with actor Moammar Rana.
The two men, during the podcast, spoke ill about the actress and passed derogatory comments on her. Their interaction is currently going viral on social media, with netizens calling them out for talking bad about one of the most successful celebrities. Posted on Nadir’s Instagram handle, in the short clip he asks Rana if he finds anyone ‘bhayanak without makeup’ in Pakistani industry to which the actor says no one. Probing further the influencer asks if he found someone like that in the Indian film industry. While making a face, the actor states that he did and went on to recall the time he failed to recognise Priyanka during an event. Recalling the event, the 49-year-old actor recalled how he was sitting with someone at an event, when a lady came and sat beside him. He explained how they were talking among themselves and he didn’t know what to do or where he should go. After a while the lady got up and left, post which he asked to know who the lady was. The Pakistani actor continued to recall his story. Quoted by Hindustan Times, he added, “The person I asked told me, 'You didn't recognize her?' I said no. Turns out, it was Priyanka Chopra who was seated. My whole crush on her…” Rana made gestures that indicated how his crush on her vanished after he saw her in real-life. The men continued to pass shameful comments on the actress. This has left the netizens irked as they took to the comment section of the post to call them out. Many even asked them to take a look at their faces in the mirror before insulting women for her appearance.
On the work front, Priyanka Chopra has an exciting slate of upcoming projects. She was last seen in the Russo brothers' spy thriller Citadel, co-starring Richard Madden and Love Again. She has Farhan Akhtar's Jee Le Zaraa, co-starring Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt in the pipeline.
