Pakistani Actress Ushna Shah SLAMS Trolls For Mocking Her ‘Indian Bridal Lehenga’; Says, ‘You Weren’t Invited, Nor Did You Pay For My Shade Of Red’
A wedding is supposed to be one of the special days in the life of a couple, as they are all set to promise each other a lifetime of togetherness. However, being a celebrity netizens often feel entitled to share their ‘opinions’ and nitpick on the decisions taken by the bride and the groom. Pakistani actress Ushna Shah, who tied the knot with professional golfer Hamza Amin on Sunday afternoon, was brutally trolled by the netizens for her choice to wear a red lehenga, instead of a traditional Pakistani bridal attire.

Netizens had taken to social media to express their displeasure on Shah’s choice of clothing and her decision to dance at her own wedding. They made comparisons between her and Kiara Advani, who had danced on the aisle while going towards her husband Sidharth Malhotra. Many even declared that she not fit to be “a role model for our children in ISLAMIC REPUBLIC OF PAKISTAN.”

Slamming the ones who criticised her choices and her wedding, Ushna took to her Instagram handle to bash the netizens. She schooled them on their thought process. In the now deleted post, she wrote, “Mrs Amin, to those who have a problem with my dress: you weren’t invited, nor did you pay for my shade of red. My jewellery, my jora: purely Pakistani. My heart, however, half-Austrian. Allah humein khush rakhey aameen.”

She added, “Beigaani shaadi mein jo uninvited photographers ghuss gaye, unko salaam.” Shedding light on the same, in her next Insta stories, she revealed that she had invited a blogger to her wedding out of courtesy. However, even after being told that they cannot bring a plus one, they did. The blogger even brought a photographer who proceeded to send ‘exclusive unapproved photos’ of her wedding to various media publications.
