Payal Rohatgi-Sangram Singh Headed For Divorce 3 Years After Marriage? Actress Resigns From His Charitable Trust Citing ‘Personal Reasons’

Payal Rohatgi and Sangram Singh's marriage is once again under the spotlight amid growing speculation of a possible separation. This comes after Payal officially resigned from her role as Director of the Sangram Singh Charitable Foundation, citing “personal reasons.” The actress shared the update through her Instagram, where she posted a photo of her resignation letter.

The letter read, “I hereby tender my resignation from the position of Director of Sangram Singh Charitable Foundation with immediate effect due to personal reasons.” She further requested the Board to accept her resignation and file the necessary forms with the Registrar of Companies. “I would like to express my sincere gratitude for the opportunity to be associated with the Foundation, and I wish the organization continued success in all its endeavors,” she added.

However, it was her cryptic caption, “Sometimes peace looks like distance,” that has fueled fresh rumours about trouble in her marriage. Although neither Payal nor Sangram has confirmed any separation or divorce, social media users quickly began speculating about a rift between the couple.

Adding to the ongoing chatter is a viral video from December 2024, where Payal was seen in a heated argument with Sangram. In the video, she accused him of mistreating her due to her inability to conceive. She also criticized his family for having regressive views, stating that they believed women should only cook, have children, and stay behind a ghunghat.

Payal was heard saying, “Tumhare ghar mein aurato ke sath aise baat ki jaati hai. Tum log padhe-likhe nahi ho theek hai, par aise baat ki jaati hai." She also warned Sangram never to taunt her again over motherhood.

The couple, who tied the knot on July 9, 2022, in Agra after years of dating, had often spoken about their strong bond. But recent developments point toward deepening personal differences.
