Ravi Mohan Files Legal Suit Against Estranged Wife Aarti And Mother-In-Law Over Defamatory Posts Amid Divorce Battle!
Actor Ravi Mohan, formerly known as Jayam Ravi, has initiated legal proceedings against his estranged wife, Aarti Ravi, and mother-in-law, Sujatha Vijayakumar, over alleged defamatory social media posts amid their ongoing divorce battle. He filed a civil suit in the Madras High Court, seeking damages and an injunction to remove the purportedly false and defamatory content from platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Telegram, WhatsApp, and X (formerly Twitter).

This legal action follows a series of public exchanges between the estranged couple. In September 2024, Ravi announced their separation, a move Aarti claimed was made without her knowledge or consent. She later accused Ravi of neglecting his responsibilities as a father, stating, "Not a whisper of emotional or financial support has followed from the one who once called them his pride."

Ravi, in response, alleged enduring years of abuse during their marriage and criticized Aarti for using their child to manipulate public opinion. Amidst these allegations, the Madras High Court issued an order directing both parties to refrain from making defamatory statements about each other in public.

The situation intensified when singer and spiritual therapist Kenishaa Francis, associated with Ravi, became the target of cyberbullying due to public speculation about her involvement in the couple's separation. Although both Kenishaa and Ravi denied these allegations, the harassment escalated after Aarti made a suggestive Instagram post implying a third party's interference in her marriage.

In light of these developments, Ravi's legal notice demands the immediate removal of all defamatory content related to him from various social media platforms, pending the court's decision.
