Renowned Fashion Designer Sharbari Datta Found Dead Inside The Bathroom Of Her Kolkata House
Designer Sharbari Datta breathed her last at the age of 63 at her Kolkata residence, she was found dead in her bathroom
One of the most well known designers Sharbari Datta is no more, she was found dead at her Kolkata residence on Thursday night. She was found dead in the washroom of her residence. As per reports in Hindustan Times, the cops did not find anything suspicious in her death, but have sent her mortal remains for autopsy. It is said her mortal remains will be given back to the family after autopsy procedure is complete later on today. She is survived by her son Amalin Datta who too is a fashion designer.
As per reported in Hindustan Times, her son shared last seeing his mother on Wednesday and later did not see her throughout Thursday. Further sharing he assumed she might have gone out for work, he also shared this has been their routine as work keeps them occupied and they don’t meet each other on a daily basis. “I had last seen my mother on Wednesday. I didn’t see her throughout Thursday. I thought she was busy and had gone out for work. It is nothing unusual. Both of us remain so busy that we don’t get to meet every day,” said Amalin Datta.
Meanwhile, as per reports in PTI, it is mentioned the fashion designer passed away due to stroke, however, Police have sent the body for autopsy.
As soon as her body was discovered family members of the late designer rang up her family physician, followed by the physician asking them to call up the cops and inform about the same.
The late designer owned a fashion label, SHUNYAA which is meant for its rich Indian culture.
