Rishabh Pant INJURED In Massive Car Accident; His BMW Car Crashes Into A Divider And Catches Fire; Cricketer HOSPITALISED-See PICS
Cricketer Rishabh Pant has been admitted to a hospital after he met with a major car accident near Roorkee while returning to Delhi. As per media reports, his BMW car crashed into a divider and caught fire. The cricketer sustained injuries on his head and back as he had to break the car’s glass to get out. Rishabh was returning home from Delhi when he met with a road accident on the Narsan border of Roorkee near Hammadpur Jhal. 

Reportedly, he was first taken to Saksham Hospital in Roorkee and later was referred to Max Hospital in Dehradun.  Informing about his accident, Pant’s IPL franchise Delhi Capitals tweeted, “Rishabh Pant met with an accident between Manglaur and Narsan in Haridwar district. He has now been shifted to a hospital in Dehradun after receiving primary treatment in a hospital in Roorkee.”




 Several pictures of Rishabh lying on the hospital bed with wounds on his back and head have surfaced online. Fans and former cricketers like VVS Laxman and Virender Sehwag have wished Pant a speedy recovery. VVS Laxman tweeted, “Praying for Rishabh Pant. Thankfully he is out of danger.” Sehwag wrote, “Wishing dear @RishabhPant17 a super speedy recovery. Bahut hi Jald swasth ho jaao.”

As per Police officials, the cricketer has suffered burn injuries but his condition is not critical. Ashok Kumar, Uttarakhand Director General of Police informed Rishabh Pant lost control of the car as he dozed off while driving. He was alone in the car and broke the window to escape.
