Sabyasachi Launches Printed Indian Tote Bags; Unimpressed Netizens Say, ‘Kirane Ka Saman Lane Ke Liye’
Indian fashion designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee needs no introduction! While the designer is often praised for his work, he is also slammed for his absurd designs. Something similar occurred as Sabyasachi Mukherjee took to his IG handle and launched a new range of Indian tote bags.

The large-sized bags were woven with elegant prints and they reportedly paid homage to the designer’s Indian roots. The designer was elated to make this tote bag the latest addition to the Sabyasachi accessories. Alongside the pictures, he penned a note, which can be read as: “The wisdom and beauty of India lie at the cusp of memory and modernity. It’s what drives me to make by hand, ignore trends, conserve endangered crafts and create a living heritage that can be passed down from one generation to the next.”

The tote bag from Sabyasachi Mukherjee's collection is the epitome of India’s incredible legacy of heritage crafts and textiles. However, many failed to grasp the real-life implications or the designs of the bag. While a section of users couldn’t stop themselves from appreciating the new launch, a few were baffled looking at its size. Some even ended up trolling him for the same.

For those unaware, Sabyasachi is popular for his bridal couture, and he has designed wedding outfits for Bollywood celebrities like Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif, Anushka Sharma, Deepika Padukone, and Priyanka Chopra, among others, and gained a lot of appreciation from people.

Earlier this year, Mouni Roy opted for a Sabyasachi lehenga for her wedding day with her boyfriend Suraj Nambiar. The ace designer’s official IG account also shared a series of pictures featuring Mouni Roy in her bridal avatar.

However, some fans were left unhappy with Mouni's bridal look at her Bengali wedding, and they took to the comment section of the post and started trolling Sabyasachi Mukherjee for his designs. While some called him 'lazy', others claimed that he has zero innovation left.
