Britney Spears fans are shocked by the latest landmark development around her personal life. The American pop star has separated from husband Sam Asghari after nuclear arguments over allegations of cheating, reported TMZ. 

The latest reports have sparked concerns amongst fans after a TMZ report quoted a source close to the development claiming that a few weeks back Sam confronted Britney over rumours of her cheating on him and it has aggravated into a huge find between the couple. 


On the contrary, Britney has adamantly declared that she did not cheat on him. 

“She is hurt because the situation brings up old feelings for her. This is the last thing she needed, especially after her boys moved to Hawaii, being worried about the fires there, and so on,” ET Online reported.

The reports also suggest that during their fights, Britney got physical with Sam that ‘include frequent screaming matches.’ 


The princess of pop hasn’t been particularly lucky in terms of relationships. The controversial singing sensation has been in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons after her conservatorship. The behaviour has been reported to be erratic and her husband couldn't take it any longer.

The landmark development has resulted in Sam leaving the house and he is said to be living separately. Shortly after the reports surfaced on the internet, TMZ reported that Sam filed for a divorce. Britney was even photographed without a ring while she was driving around Los Angeles.


Owing to the ‘irreconcilable differences’ Sam is said to have ended the marriage with Briteny and the TMZ report even quoted court documents stating that “[Sam] has yet to determine the full nature and extent of the separate property assets and obligations of each party.” 

He listed their separation date as July 28.

“There are various items of community and quasi-community assets and debts, the full nature and extent of which are unknown to [Sam] at this time,” the report further added. 

As per the prenup agreement, Briteny isn’t compelled to negotiate over her financial assets.


Moreover, Asghari has allegedly threatened to release ‘extraordinarily embarrassing’ information on Britney Spears if the prenuptial agreement is not renegotiated, reported Page Six. 

The report also claimed that Spears has hired a divorce lawyer - Laura Wasser, who is quite a popular attorney in the entertainment world.

Sam and Briteny met in 2016, when he got a gig in one of her music videos and he stood by her during her court cases against her father. The lovebirds later tied the knot in 2021.
