South superstar Samantha Ruth Prabhu, on Thursday, attended the third trailer launch event of her highly-awaited film ‘Shaakuntalam’. She was at her sartorial best in a white pantsuit. As soon as she entered the venue, paparazzi photographers started following her for pictures, however, Samantha got uncomfortable with the harsh flashlights of the cameras. In a video that has gone girl, the actress could be seen struggling to walk due to strong flashlights.

In the video, Samantha was seen struggling to open her eyes while entering the venue. One of her team members requested the photographers to switch off the flashlights of their cameras. Samantha, however, was seen smiling, while posing for the shutterbugs. She even apologized to them for not being able to pose for them properly. ALSO READ: WHAT! Soon after this video surfaced online, fans started to troll the paparazzi for their insensitive behaviour. One Insta user commented, “Paps Should Understand her Condition & Off their Flashes.” Another fan wrote, “SHAME ON THESE PEOPLE..SHE IS SICK AND SUFFERING CANT HANDLE FLASH LIGHT..” One of the netizens said, “This is why I love her....she felt not good but still smile at the end..She is so down to earth.” One of the comments can be read, “Really sad. Flashes should be turned off.”

Meanwhile, Samantha’s upcoming offering ‘Shaakuntalam’ has been directed by Guna Sekhar and is based on Kavi Kalidasa's epic drama titled ‘Abhijnana Shaakuntalam.’ The film also stars Malayalam actor Dev Mohan, Sachin Khedekar, Mohan Babu, Prakash Raj, and others in supporting roles. It is scheduled to hit the theatres on 14 April 2023.
