Serena Williams’ husband, co-founder of Reddit, Alexis Ohanian Senior is an active social media. The man loves his wife and family, just like every other person out there, he does not tolerate anything said against his family. Alexis constantly drops adorable pictures with his wife and their daughter and showers lovers. Recently, Serena Williams’ husband, who is quite vocal about his love for his family made it to the headlines. In a legendary manner, Serena Williams husband gave a befitting reply to a billionaire who tried to take a sly dig at his family.

During an interview with a Romanian public channel, Ion Tiriac a Romanian businessman and a former Tennis player, body-shammed the grand slam winner. He suggested that Serena should retire because of her weight and age. The 81-year-old said, “At this age and the weight she is now, she does not move as easily as she did 15 years ago.” Tiriac was not done here. He continued to say, “Serena was a sensational player. If she had a little decency, she would retire. From all points of view.”

This surely did not go well with Alexis. On Twitter, Serena’s husband put out a befitting reply and tweeted, “Safe to say no one gives a damn what Ion Tiriac thinks. (sic).” Alexis was not done here. He also Googled the number of Grand Slams that Tiriac has earned till date and then shared his findings too. He made another tweet and wrote, “Had to Google it... turns out my 3-year-old has more Grand Slam victories than this (sic).” Along with the post, the Reddit co-founder also shared a couple if clown emojis. 

Meanwhile, just for the record, Serena Williams has 23 Grand Slam victories to her name, till date. While Alexis spoke in his wife’s defence, the Twitterati could not help but sing praises of him. Many social media users lauded the move and respected it. On the other hand, Serena did not address the comment openly, but posted a perfect video on Instagram, showing she does not care at all.
