Shefali Jariwala Death: Parag Tyagi Cries Inconsolably As He Immerses His Late Wife's Ashes In Mumbai

Television actress Shefali Jariwala, known for her iconic appearance in the music video Kaanta Laga, was laid to rest as her ashes were immersed in the sea on June 30. The final ritual was carried out by her husband, actor Parag Tyagi, and close family members.

Shefali passed away on June 27, leaving behind a wave of shock and grief across the entertainment industry. After her sudden demise, her last rites were conducted on June 28 in Mumbai, where many celebrities, including Karanvir Bohra, Teejay Sidhu, and Shweta Tiwari, came to pay their respects.

On Sunday, a heart-wrenching moment unfolded at the beach where Parag Tyagi performed the ritual of immersing Shefali's ashes. Photographs from the ceremony show Parag dressed in white, standing quietly by the seashore, visibly emotional and surrounded by a few close relatives.

 In a video shared by the paparazzi, Parag holds the urn close to his chest as he walks along the beach toward the water, accompanied by Shefali’s sister and parents — a moment heavy with grief and silent resilience. The couple shared a strong bond, and Parag has been vocal about how deeply Shefali's loss has affected him. 

Shefali Jariwala gained instant fame in the early 2000s with her breakout role in the Kaanta Laga video and later appeared in reality shows like Bigg Boss 13 and Nach Baliye. Her untimely death at 42 has left the entertainment world in mourning. Known for her charm and warmth, Shefali’s absence has created a void that will be hard to fill.
