Juhu police officer arrested a fraudster for falsely offering a job to a social media influencer in Akshay Kumar’s production house Cape of Good Films
Social media influencer Pooja Anandani filed a complaint with the Juhu police station after a man tried to falsely offer her a job at Akshay Kumar’s production house Cape of Good Films. As reported by the Free Press Journal, she had received a call from Princekumar Rajan Anjanikumar Sinha, who informed her that she had been selected for an upcoming film. He told her that his name was Rohan Mehra and that he was calling from the actor’s office. It is to be noted that he didn’t work at the production house and pretended to get the influencer a job there.
The 29-year-old accused told Pooja that he wanted a good profile photo, which he would get clicked by Amitabh Bachchan’s photographer. He went on to demand Rs 6 lakh for the same. Informed her that she would get the job in the film company after receiving her profile photo. A Juhu police officer stated that Anandani, known for her impressive reels, had received a call from the accused who had even shared details about the characters of an upcoming film. However, the 28-year-old social media started to grow suspicious. She first called the production house to get Sinha’s details. After finding out that there was no one named Rohan Mehra in the production house, she alerted the police by reporting the fraud, which led to his arrest. ALSO READ: WHAT! As reported by the media publication, Sinha told Anandani that she was selected for a role in a movie based on the life of Nirbhaya. He proceeded to call her to meet him in Juhu. Their second meeting was in a coffee shop, where he asked Amitabh Bachchan’s photographer to take her photos. They met in JW Marriott Juhu, for the third time where she had already called the police. The accused was arrested there.
On the work front, last seen in Mission Raniganj and OMG 2, Akshay Kumar has Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Sarfira, Singham Again, Hera Pheri 3, and the multi-starrer Welcome To The Jungle in his pipeline. He will also be making his debut in the Marathi film industry with Mahesh Manjrekar directorial Vedat Marathe Veer Daudle Saat. he will be seen essaying the role of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
