Renowned Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is embroiled in controversy as allegations surface of him physically assaulting one of his staff members while allegedly under the influence of alcohol. A viral video on X captures the disturbing incident, showing Khan slapping and hitting a man with his slipper, demanding to know the whereabouts of his bottle. The singer proceeds to pull the man’s hair, push him to the ground, and continue the assault despite attempts by onlookers to intervene.

This isn't the first instance where the veteran singer has faced public scrutiny for alleged misconduct. Previously denied a US visa, he was also accused of currency smuggling. In response to the recent incident, Khan released a video explaining that the bottle in question contained 'holy water' instead of alcohol. The person involved, referred to as a 'servant,' appeared in the apology video, confirming he had unintentionally misplaced the bottle. He also stated that Khan promptly apologized for his actions immediately after the incident.







In a video response, the 'O Re Piya' hitmaker introduces a long-serving driver, attesting to their 40 years of professional association. The driver expresses that throughout his four decades of service, the singer has consistently treated him well. Social media users feel he is doing this to cover up his doings. However, he continues to receive flak on social media for the viral video.
