SHOCKING! Sidhu Moose Wala’s Father Balkaur Singh Alleges Harassment By Bhagwant Mann-Led Punjab Government Over Birth Of His Child
Balkaur Singh, the father of the late Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala, has accused the Bhagwant Mann-led Punjab government of harassment following the birth of his second son. He welcomed a baby boy on March 17 with his wife Charan Kaur, almost two years after the tragic loss of their only son, Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, also known as Sidhu Moose Wala. In an Instagram post, Balkaur expressed gratitude for the blessing of their new child but lamented the government's demands for documentation to prove the baby's legitimacy. The elderly couple opted for IVF to conceive their baby, although Balkaur Singh did not explicitly mention this detail. The government introduced the Assisted Reproductive Technology (Regulation) Act in December 2021, which imposes strict age limits for IVF procedures. These guidelines stipulate age ranges of 21–50 years for women and 21–55 years for men. Balkaur Singh appealed to the government, particularly Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, to allow the completion of all necessary treatments, emphasizing his willingness to cooperate with any inquiries. Singh took to Instagram on Tuesday and wrote, "Due to the blessings of Waheguru, we got our Shubhdeep back. But the government is harassing me since morning, asking me to furnish documents of the baby. They are questioning me to prove that this child is legal." Take a look at the post below.

Asserting that he had followed all legal procedures and would provide the required documentation, Balkaur Singh urged for understanding and cooperation from the authorities. Sidhu Moose Wala tragically lost his life to assailants in Punjab's Mansa district on May 29, 2022, at the age of 28. In that same year, he had contested the Punjab Assembly elections on a Congress ticket from Mansa but was unsuccessful.
