The rumours around Indian cricketer Shubman Gill and Bollywood actress Sara Ali Khan being in a relationship have been floating around for a while now. While the cricketer has been in the headlines making India proud by scoring his first double century during a T20 match against New Zealand, a picture of him spending time with the actress at an airport has gone viral.

The picture in question was shared by a netizen on February 1, when a media publication had made a post about Sachin Tedulkar being present to witness the cricketer’s special moment. For the unversed, in the past Shubman was also linked to Tendulkar’s daughter Sara. In the photo, while the cricketer can be seen wearing a blue hoodie, Sara is seen donning a printed jumper.

While, it was being speculated that Sara flew to Ahmedabad to be with Shubman, a source close to the actress cleared the air by stating that the photo circulating the internet isn’t a recent one. Yes, you read that right! According to a report by Bollywood Life, Sara is currently in Mumbai and she hasn’t visited him, nor has she attended the match played by Shubman.

For the unversed, the rumours of the duo dating started floating around when they were spotted having a cozy dinner. While the couple hasn’t commented on the speculations, during his appearance on Sonam Bajwa's talk show, Dil Diyan Gallan, in 2022 had hinted at their relationship. Not only had he termed her as Bollywood’s fittest female actor, when asked to reveal the truth behind their relationship, he had said, “Sara da sara sach bol reyaan. Maybe, maybe not.”
