Yahoo has announced its Year in Review (RIV) for India. The survey analysed search trends to reveal what Indian users searched for the most this year. Talking about the most searched malde celebrities, late actor Sidharth Shukla tops the list. TV and film actor Sidharth Shukla passed away on September 2. The news of his demise left his gazillion fans heartbroken. Salman Khan bagged the second spot followed by Allu Arjun. Puneeth Rajkumar and late actor Dilip Kumar bagged the fourth and fifth position respectively.
And now, talking about the most searched female celebrities, Kareena Kapoor Khan tops the list. Bebo welcomed her second son 'Jeh Ali Khan' this year. Besides that, she also turned author with 'Kareena Kapoor Khan's Pregnancy Bible: The Ultimate Manual For Moms To Be'. When it comes to 'Most Searched Indian Sports Personalities', Virat Kohli has topped the list. MS Dhoni is at the second position followed by Olympic Gold Medallist Neeraj Chopra. Sachin Tendulkar, Rohit Sharma bagged the fourth and fifth spots respectively. Badminton ace PV Sindhu bagged seventh spot.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is India's Most Searched Personality. He is followed by Virat Kohli and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.
Talking about 'Most Searched Movies, TV Shows and OTT Series', 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' topped the list followed by 'Radha Krishn' bagging the second position. The list was rounded off by TV show 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai', 'Money Heist-Season 5' and Sidharth Malhotra-Kiara Advani starrer 'Shershaah'.
