Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, who is suspected to be the mastermind in the killing of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala, was questioned for 5-hours by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) on Friday.
During the same, Bishnoi admitted that he had planned the murder of the singer and ordered the recce of his house, but the gangster maintained that he did not know who had executed the hit.
As per a recent Times of India report, Bishnoi confessed that Sidhu Moose Wala was murdered to avenge the death of singer and Akali youth leader Vicky Middukhera.
The gangster was questioned by STF for 5-hour about the singer's murder. Citing sources, a report in the Times of India suggested that Sidhu Moose Wala was murdered to avenge the killing of singer and Akali youth leader Vicky Middukhera, according to too a report in Times of India.
The report also quoted sources adding that Bishnoi told SIT that Middukhera was like an elder brother to him and was treated the same way by his gang. He also alleged that his gang members “may have executed Sidhu Moose Wala's murder" as they were upset
Bishnoi’s gang members were also upset with Sidhu Moose Wala for allegedly helping his manager Shaganpreet Singh in fleeing to Australia. The revelations come after Bishnoi was reportedly shown the CCTV footage of the place where Sidhu Moose Wala was killed.
Meanwhile, Canada-based gangster Goldy Brar had reportedly taken up the responsibility of killing Sidhu Moose Wala’s murder via a Facebook post last month. Brar is alleged to be associated with Lawrence Bishnoi.
Brar claimed in a Facebook post that no action was taken against Sidhu Moose Wala even after his name cropped up in the killing of Vikramjit Singh Middukhera alias Vicky Middukhera.
