Siya Kakkar Suicide: Delhi Police Seize TikToker’s Mobile Phone To Check Her Call Records; Close Friends To Be Questioned- Reports
Here’s the latest update about the Siya Kakkar suicide case. Delhi Police have seized Siya’s phone and will begin interrogating her close friends. The 16-year-old TikToker Siya Kakkar died by suicide on June 25.
Yesterday, another incident of suicide shook the entire nation. Days after Sushant Singh Rajput’s tragic death, famous TikToker Siya Kakkar died by suicide at her home in Delhi. Siya was 16. Apart from the humongous fan following of around 1M followers on Instagram, Siya had more than 1 million followers on the video-sharing platform, TikTok. As per the latest update regarding her suicide case, Delhi police have reportedly seized Siya’s phone and will begin interrogating her close friends, reports India Today.
Speaking about the same the DCP told India Today Television, “Siya died by suicide at her residence in New Delhi at around 9 pm on June 25. She lived with her family. Her family is in shock and has requested privacy. No suicide note has been recovered.” The same report further states the Police are yet to unlock her phone. Police will unlock it in order to check her call records.
The TikToker ended her life yesterday and it was Siya’s manager who had confirmed the TikToker’s death to the portal. He had said, “This must be due to something personal...workwise she was doing well. I had a word with her last night for a new project and she sounded normal. My company Fame Experts and me manage lots of artists and Siya was a bright talent.”
Earlier, a Zee News report states that Delhi Police confirmed that Siya Kakkar had been under stress for the last few days. Not only that, but Police have also denied the Sushant Singh Rajput case angle in her suicide.
