Sonal Chauhan Returns To India After Being Stranded In Dubai, Says ‘The Last Few Days Were Challenging’

Bollywood actress Sonal Chauhan has safely returned to India after being stuck in Dubai for several days due to suspended flight operations amid rising tensions in the Middle East linked to the Israel–Iran conflict. Sonal, who was in the UAE when the situation escalated late last week and travel was disrupted, took to Instagram on Tuesday to share the news of her return and to thank well-wishers for their support.

In her message, she wrote, “Back home in India and feeling deeply grateful. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for all the love, prayers, and messages. They truly mean so much. I’m safely back in India now.” She described the recent period as difficult, saying, “The last few days were challenging,” but added that she witnessed “the unbeatable spirit and resilience of Dubai, and that truly comes from the confidence that people have in their government.”

Sonal expressed sincere gratitude to the Dubai authorities for the care and attention shown during the uncertain period, noting how their efforts helped ensure that stranded travellers felt safe and protected. “I’m sincerely grateful to the Dubai authorities for keeping us safe and calm during this difficult time and handling everything with such care and responsibility, and making sure each one of us felt secure and protected,” she wrote.

She also shared a heartfelt appeal for peace, underlining: “I truly hope this is over soon, because war is never the answer. My heart goes out to everyone facing this difficult time, and I pray for peace and an end to it all.”

Her safe return comes as airlines in the UAE gradually resume limited flight services after several days of cancellations due to the heightened geopolitical tensions.
