2020 seemed to be cursed in so many ways. Apart from the outbreak of the novel Coronavirus that has devastated many lives, on the other hand, we have also seen several great actors passing away and leaving a great legacy behind. Be it Hollywood, Bollywood or even stars from South Korea where a great actor has passed away leaving everyone grieving over him. Today, we learnt of South Korean actor Park Ji Hoon's passing away at the age of 32 on May 13, 2020. According to the reports, Park Ji Hoon lost the battle to stomach cancer.
With this, Park Ji Hoon’s family announced the news on social media along with a heart-wrenching post that is written by his family. The message stated that “I'm writing a message here in case I didn't contact some people by accident. Thank you very much for your warm comfort and encouragement despite the spread of COVID-19. Because of you, I was able to send my younger brother off well. You were not only strength to me but my whole family. I won't forget it. Be careful of the coronavirus, and I hope you'll always be healthy. Once again, I would like to express my deep gratitude." Along with the statement, the family also shared the details of the funeral.
Seeing the post on social media, fans started pouring in condolences messages for him and commenting ‘Rest in peace’ on his comment section. A heartbroken fan couldn't believe it as the fan paid a tribute which read, “I still can’t believe he passed away already. When I watch the Chicago typewriter I adore him so much and thought that I think he will have a good drama and he is the lead because he's good in acting but now He's Gone I can't stop myself crying. Rest in Peace Oppa. I can't accept the fact that you are dead already.”
