Tamannaah Bhatia was paired opposite actor Suhail Nayyar in the web series Jee Karda, which deals with marriage complexities. The two shared hot and intimate scenes in the show. In fact, this was the first time when Tamannaah went so bold on the silver screen and indulged in intimate scenes. While she received sharp criticism over her bold scenes, the actress explained that these scenes were very instrumental in order to tell the journies of these people. 

Speaking with DNA, the Baahubali actor opened up about doing intimate scenes and explained these are there to titillate or grab eyeballs. She was quoted as saying, “These scenes are very instrumental in order to tell the journies of these people. So, in no capacity, these are there to titillate or grab eyeballs. She added, “Whether people like it or not, this is how it is. Suhail was someone who really made me feel comfortable. There was really no resistance from Suhail or me to kind of get into Lavanya and Rishabh (their characters). I think we both understood that these people know each other in a way that maybe in their lives, nobody else would know them so deeply so the physicality of us even in a non-intimate scene was as if we were like one unit. We had an intimacy coordinator on set but Arunima made it very easy and comfortable for both of us with her instructions.”

Suhail, on the other hand, confessed he was very nervous while shooting for intimate scenes with Tamannaah. He showered praise on the actress and stated she made her feel very comfortable. On a related note, Jee Karda is an eight-episodic series, produced by Dinesh Vijan under his banner Maddock Films. ‘Jee Karda’ was released on June 15 on Amazon Prime Video.
