Tamil superstar Vijay Sethupathi is all set to take the digital space by storm with his upcoming web show 'Farzi' which also stars Shahid Kapoor. The actor also has many big-budget Hindi movies including Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan and Merry Christmas with Katrina Kaif in the pipeline. However, Vijay is reportedly upset with the Hindi audience for not respecting him until he says he is working with B-Town stars like SRK, Katrina, and Shahid.

Yes, you read that right! As reported by Bollywoodlife, Sethupathi feels he is not being taken seriously by the Hindi audience until he names his Bollywood co-actors. He recently took a jibe at those who asked him about his Hindi project and acknowledge only when he names Bollywood biggies he is working with. The report added that the Vikram Vedha star is not happy over the fact he has to mention the names of celebs Shah Rukh Khan, Shahid, and Katrina to get the respect of the Hindi audience. Meanwhile, Vijay is foraying into digital space with his first web show ‘Farzi’ where he plays the role of a cop. The show has been created and directed by The Family Man duo Raj & DK and it will release on Amazon Prime Video on 10th February 2023.

Fondly called Makkal Selvan, Vijay Sethupathi rose to fame with his brilliant stint in films like Super Deluxe, Master, and Vikram Vedha. The actor won the prestigious National Award for playing a character role in Super Deluxe. He will next be seen sharing the silver screen with Shah Rukh in Atlee’s upcoming movie 'Jawan.'
