Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday launched 5G services at the 6th Edition of India Mobile Congress 2022 event. Interestingly, a new video of India’s PM has grabbed eyeballs and the clip has been going viral on the internet.
The video featured Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani and his son Akash Ambani who were seen giving a demo on 5G to PM Modi during the launch event.
Following the launch, PM Modi headed over to Reliance's Jio Pavilion to experience the 'true 5G' devices. The Indian Prime Minister received a personal demonstration by Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani’s eldest son Akash Ambani, who recently took over as Chairman of Jio Infocomm's board, the digital branch of Reliance Industries.
Furthermore, the PM also visited stalls of Airtel, Vodafone Idea, C-DOT, and others to experience 5G.
"He also spent time understanding the indigenous development of end-to-end 5G technology by a team of young Jio engineers, and how 5G can help bridge the gap between urban and rural healthcare delivery," Jio said in a statement.
India Mobile Congress, the four-day event, is being held at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi.
Well, the wait for 5G in India has finally ended and Indian users will be able to enjoy 5G services by Diwali. During the latest event, PM Modi received demonstrations from several top companies like Airtel, Reliance Jio, and Qualcomm. They even explained him the benefits of 5G.
