Virat Kohli is just not a name, but it’s an emotion. His journey from an underdog to now among one of the most successful personalities is simply awe-inspiring. The Indian Skipper celebrates his 31st birthday today. And to make a little extra special for his fans, a superhero show named Super ‘V’ based on Indian skipper Virat Kohli is to premiere in India and seventy other countries through the Star network worldwide and also on the streaming giant Hotstar. The show is a cricketing prodigy that revolves around a 15-year-old, who eventually discovers his supernatural powers and proceeds to fight against the evil and save the world. The series takes inspiration from the captain’s childhood and he hopes that it will inspire his young fans. Interestingly, Virat also has a special appearance in the series. Taking to his social media accounts, Virat Kohli shared a sneak peek of Super ‘V’ and it sure got his fans excited.

During an event, Kohli opened up on the animated series, he said, “It is essential to have a complete upbringing with a good balance of academics and sports. As a teenager, inculcating values such as discipline, leadership and integrity, prove to be stepping stones in developing an individual’s overall personality. I had the opportunity to connect with Super V and give him a little clarity in thought. In today’s world, children are always looking up to superheroes for inspiration, and I believe Super V aims to send out the right message to young viewers. I am ecstatic to be a part of this concept and to be associated with Star.”
