When Sapna Choudhary Opened Up About Not Getting Work In Hindi Films And TV Shows: 'I Did Not Wear Short Clothes'

Sapna Choudhary is one of the most popular stars in the industry. She keeps making headlines for multiple reasons. As many know, her dance videos often go viral on the internet. Sapna gained immense popularity after participating in Salman Khan-hosted show Bigg Boss 11. She has had her share of ups and downs in her career. Last year, in August, Sapna got candid as she opened up about the discrimination she faced in the entertainment industry.
Speaking to ETimes, Sapna had shared that she failed to get work in the industry. She revealed, "I failed to get work in Hindi film and TV shows since I did not wear short clothes. And not just that, my links to the regional music scene, not being able to speak fluent English and lack of a Godfather also contributed towards me not getting any work."
She had also revealed that there was a time when designers would refuse her clothes for shows and events. "Living in Mumbai, I have felt that people care to talk to you only when it suits them or serves them in any way. People in the industry will judge you harshly," she added. She had also mentioned that dance will always be her first love. "Whatever I am today is because of dance." She further added that she wanted to explore avenues other than dance as well.
She had also spilled beans on her life after Bigg Boss. "People think that all Bigg Boss contestants transform into huge celebrities after the show but that is not the case," she said.
