There’s no doubt, India vs Pakistan game is one of the biggest rivalries in international cricket, and these matches can turn quite intense owing to the cricketers’ aggression, which even produces some moments of altercations.
However, such encounters also provide moments of some heartwarming friendship between players from India and Pakistan.
During the recent mega encounter, Virat Kohli and former Pakistan fast bowler Wasim Akram were seen sharing a beautiful moment of friendship. Before the toss, Kohli greeted Akram, who is a part of the official broadcast team of the Asia Cup and they shared a quick chat and a hearty laugh, as they even hugged each other. Kohli then proceeded to hug former teammate Irfan Pathan as well.
On the professional front, Kohli hasn’t been in the best of form for a long time. The Indian skipper has been going through a much-talked-about century drought in international cricket that has lasted close to three years.
Well, fans are hoping to watch the veteran Indian batsman as he is back at his best in the Asia Cup 2022, especially against Pakistan in yesterday’s game.
