WWE Icon Scott Hall Passes Away After Suffering Multiple Heart Attacks, Wrestling Fans Call It 'A Painful Day'

The world of wrestling is devastated by the sad demise of WWE icon Scott Hall, 63, who passed away on Monday, March 14. The two-time world champion suffered multiple heart attacks over the weekend following complications from hip surgery. Hall, was also known to be the co-founder of the nWo (New World Order).
The recent development comes after Hall was reportedly taken off life support. According to multiple reports, the heart attacks were a result of a "blood clot getting loose in the midst of operating.”
Hall's demise has engulfed the world with sadness and hashtags like ‘#RIPScottHall’ and ‘RestEasy’ trended on top after the WWE icon left for heavenly abode leaving his friends and former colleagues devastated.
The news of Hall’s death comes weeks after the legendary actor and comedian Louie Anderson died in January. He was admitted to the hospital days earlier after being diagnosed with cancer but sadly could not make it.
Furthermore, Bob Saget is another icon that Hollywood lost on January 9. Speaking of celebrity deaths, Betty White died at 99 of natural causes on December 31, 2021. Chick Vennera, DMX, Jay Black, and Jeanette Maus are other public figures who passed away last year leaving their loyal fans in mourning.
Meanwhile, the official Twitter account of WWE paid a tribute to Hall on Twitter writing, “WWE is saddened to learn that two-time WWE Hall of Famer Scott Hall has passed away. WWE extends its condolences to Hall’s family, friends and fans.”
Hall might not have been a WWE champion but he was a two-time world champion after winning the WWC Universal Heavyweight Championship and the USWA Unified World Heavyweight Championship.
For the unversed, he shot to fame in the last 1980s and early 90s. Hall got into WWE in 1992 and quickly got famous under the name Razor Ramon with a “bad guy” Cuban gimmick partially inspired by Al Pacino’s character from ‘Scarface’.
Later, Hall was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as a singles competitor in 2014, and again as a member of the nWo in 2020.
